About the Event
This free webinar is for parents, paediatricians, family physicians, psychologists, and other health care providers in primary care, disability service providers, and schools. Research has shown that autism spectrum disorder (ASD) can be diagnosed by 18-24 months of age and that children who access quality intervention from this period have the highest rates of recovery from the core symptoms of autism. Yet a lot of families are asked to wait until their child turns 4 - 5 years before getting a diagnosis. This webinar will explore recent findings and strategies for the early identification of children at risk of autism spectrum disorders and, how identified children can access intervention from an early age.
