Service Description

Lack of focus, high activity and impulsive behavior can affect all stages of learning ; whether it is the requirement to sit quietly at a desk or remain focused on a project. Inattention can negatively affect the brains ability for memorization, integration & subsequent application of new information that establish learning. Similarly, poor and illegible handwriting can pose a challenge to children and adversely impact their learning outcomes. For some children, handwriting is overly laborious even with their best effort which knocks hard on any child's self esteem. The CHAMP is designed to help children with inattention, poor handwriting skills and underlying cognitive difficulties (memory, visual processing, coordination, organization) learn skills that will make learning more productive. As a school, you can register identified children for the CHAMP program and we will assign a team to evaluate, design intervention and work with the identified children in groups of 5. Individual plans are also available for parents through our virtual Teletherapy platform. Every child deserves to not only learn, but also to enjoy the learning process. Fee covers 10 sessions per month and it is exclusive of baseline assessment and applies to single modules (one of Cognitive, handwriting, attention boosting or movement therapy plan).
